You may be surprised to see a five star review on a ring that is so cheap, but I'm not comparing this to all the wedding bands in the world, I'm comparing it to similarly priced bands. For just over $200, this is a very nice ring.I have somewhat smaller hands, and I never, ever wear rings, so I wanted something that was narrow and light, but more than just a plain metal circle. It's difficult to find hammered gold rings anymore, as the style seems to have lost its popularity, but it's nearly impossible to find one smaller than 6mm. At 5mm, this was the perfect size for me, and the hammered finish is subtle without being unnoticeable. It's light, but sturdy. The hammered finish is a bit rough, but not so much that it rubs against the middle and pinky fingers.I originally got this ring as a place holder until I could find something more unique and customized. I'll probably still get a different ring, but I'll use this guy as a backup rather than banishing it to the depths of my wife's jewelry box.You have to look very close (or blow up a photo, which the listing obviously did) to see the hammering. Also the metal is very thin. It's okay, but overall disappointing. This is a perfect ring for someone who doesn't like wearing jewelry. Customer service is unmatched with these guys. This was my second order from them and won't be my last.My husband and I got married a year ago, and this is the ring that I got him. It is still beautiful today, and seems to be very nice quality, sturdy, and lovely. This ring is great for the price, it's light ( which is what my husband wanted) and low profile. It is a little thinner than it looks but you can really see the hammered details.
